FILARET urban renewal
The site features the first trainstation in Bucharest, Filaret. The demographic leap in the XIXth century forced the city to expand, thus this once peripheral area finds itself today near the town's center.
The Filaret trainstation is currently out of service. In the mid 1980 it was transformed into a national long distance bus station. The area currently embodies many production dwellings and abandoned halls that abusively occupy the sites.
The project intents to renew this urban space and give the Filaret trainstation a worthy function.
